Responsible Gambling
The most important aspect of you being part of the Panbet community is that you enjoy your time with us. This means having all the information and facilities that you need to make informed decisions about your spending. To this end we have ensured that there are several options available, which help you, configure and manage your account. This including setting limits on the amount that you deposit or spend in any 24 hour period.
Please see below for the full list of resources available to inform and aid you in considering how to manage your time and money.
Underage
If you are under 18 and are visiting this site to try to gamble our advice is DON'T! It is a criminal offence for you to try and place a bet and also for Panbet to accept the bet. We have software in place to help us in identifying under 18's and we will report any suspicions that we have to the relevant authorities. We will provide any information necessary to help those authorities in identifying such criminal activity. We will be more than happy for you to enjoy gaming with us when you are of legal age but until such time that you meet the legal requirements we would kindly ask you to refrain from trying to register with us. Please do not be offended if as part of our necessary and stringent checks we ask for documentary evidence of age.
Parents! If you have concerns that your children, or someone you know under the age of 18 may be gambling through this site or have access to personal and account details that would allow them to do so, then there are number of options available to help you. There are tools you can put in place to check and block underage access to our site and sites containing age specific content.
Please check.
- www.cybersitter.com which allows specific sites to be blocked
- www.netnanny.com which has filtering software protecting children from inappropriate web content
Here are a number of resources that are designed to inform you and help you manage the time and money that you spend with us.
Betting/Account History
In the My Account/Bet History and My Account/Account History sections you can access a full history of your previous bets, withdrawals and deposits along with your current account balance. There are several filters allowing you to make your searches more specific. From these sections you will be able to see exactly what, when and how much you have wagered, won and lost.
Setting Limits
When opening your account you have the opportunity of setting certain limits.
A Daily Loss Limit allows you to set a specific amount that you are comfortable gambling, the limit will then restrict the amount leaving your account up to this limit. Any winnings are added to this limit when the event is settled.
A Daily Deposit Limit allows you to control the amount that you deposit into your Panbet account.
If you wish to raise your limits we have a 24 hour cooling off period during which you may cancel your request. If you wish to decrease your limits the lower limits take immediate effect. If you have reached this limit during your chosen period no further bets/deposits will be possible until that period has elapsed.
Our Customer Care Team is unable to override any limits that you have set but will be happy to discuss any issues regarding the limits.
Staying In Control
Below is a list of self test questions which you can use to assess whether you may be spending too much time and/or money gambling.
- Have others ever criticised your gambling?
- Have you ever lied to cover up the amount of money or time you have gambled?
- Do arguments, frustrations or disappointments make you want to gamble?
- Do you gamble alone for long periods?
- Do you stay away from work, college or school to gamble?
- Do you gamble to escape from a boring or unhappy life?
- Are you reluctant to spend 'gambling money' on anything else?
- Have you lost interest in your family, friends or pastimes due to gambling?
- After losing, do you feel you must try and win back your losses as soon as possible?
- When gambling and you run out of money, do you feel lost and in despair, and need to gamble again as soon as possible?
- Do you gamble until your last penny is gone, even the bus fare home or the cost of a cup of tea?
- Have you lied, stolen or borrowed just to get money to gamble or pay gambling debts?
- Do you feel depressed or even suicidal because of your gambling?
If you find you are answering 'yes' to even a couple of the above questions, then we ask that you consider contacting one of the organisations listed below in the Getting Assistance section to discuss your situation. All organisations ensure complete confidentiality.

Self Exclusion
If you have considered your position and perhaps sought advice, and feel that you can no longer afford to continue spending any time or money with us then we can offer a self exclusion option.
We respect and appreciate your decision but want you to fully understand that this is a process that we cannot reverse. You can exclude yourself for a period of 6 months to 5 years. Once you have self excluded for a set period, that period must expire and you must then contact us to reinstate your account. Once you have contacted us a 24 hour cooling off period must elapse before your account can be reopened.
This self-exclusion agreement only applies to Panbet, we would encourage you ask for the same facility with other operators that you have accounts with.
There is also a help site, www.gamblock.com, which has features that allow you to block access to internet gambling sites.
Once a Self Exclusion request has been made we will suspend your account, which means you will be unable to place bets. You will be able to log in and withdraw any funds remaining in the account. Any unsettled bets will stand and should there be any winnings they will be credited to your account and will be available to withdraw.
We will take all reasonable steps and checks to prevent the opening of new accounts if you have excluded yourself. However, the responsibility ultimately lies with you. We would kindly ask that you update your contact details (address and/or telephone number) if they change so we can ensure that new accounts can not knowingly be opened. In the event that inaccurate or incomplete data is submitted or your current details are not updated, we will not be held responsible for any subsequent losses or other circumstances caused by these actions.
You can activate a self-exclusion by clicking on the self-exclusion link contained within our Player Protection section.
If you have any questions regarding this or any other issue please contact our Customer Care Team. We will be happy to answer any queries or advise you on the best source of help.
