1. General Rules
1.1 Company Details
Panbet.com (.co.uk/.net/.org) are the trading
names of Marathon Alderney Ltd, a company registered in Alderney (reg no
1686) with registered offices at Millennium House, Ollivier Street,
Alderney, Channel Islands, GY9 3TD.
- Marathon Alderney Ltd is regulated by the Alderney Gambling
Control Commission (AGCC) and all bets are considered to be processed
in the jurisdiction of Alderney.
- These rules are governed in accordance with the laws of
Alderney and any disputes relating to them will be subject to the
jurisdiction of the courts of Alderney.
1.2 Rule Changes
- These rules were originally written in English. Should there
be any queries resulting from translations into different languages
(different context etc) then the rules as they were written in English
will take precedence.
- We reserve the right to add or update these rules at any time.
In such circumstances the posting of the new rules on the website will
be deemed to be the time they become effective and they will take
immediate effect. Any bets placed after that time will be subject to
the updated rules.
1.3 Age Restrictions
- You must be over the age of 18 to register with our website
and/or place bets.
- We reserve the right to verify a customer's age using
recognised age verification third party companies. Further, if
necessary we may also request proof of age or identification
documentation from the customer at any time. During this period
accounts may be suspended whilst checks to confirm verification are
being completed.
- By accepting the terms and conditions of registration you are
indicating that you are 18 years of age or above.
1.4 Betting Laws/
Restrictions
- It is each individual customer's responsibility to ensure they
comply with their own local, state or national laws in their
jurisdiction of residence, or the laws from where they are placing the
bet from, if different, prior to registering or placing a bet with
Marathon Alderney Ltd. If Internet Gambling is illegal in the
jurisdiction from which you are registered, or attempting to place a
bet, then you are not permitted to register or place bets on our site.
If it comes to light that an account has been mistakenly permitted to
be opened from such an area then Marathon Alderney Ltd reserve the
right to close that account immediately and void any bets placed.
- Additionally, we reserve the right to prohibit registration
and/or bets from other countries or jurisdictions as we deem necessary.
1.5 Account Security/ Personal
Details
- It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that you keep
your username, passwords and other account details private and secure.
Do not disclose these details to any third party as any bets placed by
a person quoting your secure details will be attributed to your
account. If you have any concerns about the security of your account
please contact our Customer Care Team immediately.
- If we have any concerns about the identity of a customer or the validity of the address/credit/debit card details quoted we reserve the right to request whatever ID we deem appropriate and withhold any payment until we are satisfied of the authenticity of all the details we have been given. Should the details we have been given prove to be false we reserve the right to void any bets placed on this account and to withhold any payments indefinitely.
- Following the guidelines set out by the AGCC, we will continue
to verify all accounts as required, including asking customers to send
ID documentation. This could be done at any stage and may need to be
done each time a customer updates their address, card details etc.
Accounts may be suspended during this process until verification is
confirmed.
1.6 Multiple Accounts
- Multiple accounts are not permitted. Should it come to light
that a customer has opened more than one account all except the initial
one will be closed and any special offers will only apply to the
remaining account. New registrations are checked regularly against
existing personal details, card details, IP Addresses etc.
- If we believe more than one account has been opened by the
same person to benefit from additional offers/bonuses/free bets etc
then we reserve the right to withdraw these offers and disregard these
bonuses for settlement purposes.
1.7 Dormant Accounts
- Marathon Alderney Ltd will not necessarily inform a customer
when there is an outstanding balance on their account. However, we will
undertake to inform all customers when there is a balance of over £10
(or equivalent) and the account has been inactive for a period of at
least 12 months although there is no obligation on the company to do
this. If an account has remained inactive for a period of two years
then the customer will forfeit any remaining balance which will be
donated to a nominated charity.
