10.3 Baccarat

Baccarat is one of the oldest and most popular games in casinos all over the world. It is especially popular among high-rollers and Asian gamblers. Although the game seems serious and elegant, it is actually very simple.

Objective

The goal of the game for the player is to draw a two- or three-card hand with a value closer to 9 than the banker's hand.

Cards

The game is played with a six-deck shoe with a standard deck of 52 cards. The decks are shuffled after each hand.

Cards in Baccarat are valued in the following way:

  • An Ace is counted as 1.
  • The cards from 2 through 9 have their face values.
  • 10, Jack, Queen, and King are counted as 0.

The value of a hand is simply the sum of point values of all cards in the hand. But only the last digit of the total is used, so all baccarat hands have values in the 0 to 9 range, inclusive. The hand containing 9, A, A is valued as 1 (9 + 1 + 1 = 11, the last digit is 1). If the hand contains (9, 7), its total value is not 16, but 6.

Betting Tips

To: Tip:
Select a chip Just click the required chip at the bottom right of the table.
Place your bet Click the corresponding betting field.
Increase your bet Every click on the betting field adds one chip of the selected value to your stack.

Repeat your bet Click REBET to place the same stakes as in the previous round and start dealing.

Betting Limits

Min/Max sign indicates minimum and maximum amount that can be placed on each betting field.

Play

Play begins with placing a bet. Place your bet on the banker's hand to win and/or on the player's hand to win and/or on a tie result. Thus, bets can be placed on Banker, Player and Tie betting areas.

Click DEAL. You and the banker are both dealt two cards. If necessary, a third card is dealt to the player and banker or both (see Third Card Rule).

Third Card Rule

  • If either Player's hand or Banker's hand totals 8-9, the hand is called "Natural". In this case, both the Player and the Banker must stand.
  • If the Player has an initial total of 0-5, the Player draws a single card. If the Player has an initial total of 6 or 7, he stands.
  • The Banker's play depends on the Banker's initial hand, on whether the Player has drawn a card, and on what card the Player has drawn:
    • If the Player hasn't drawn a card, the Banker draws if he has 0-5, and stands if he has 6-7.
    • If the Player has drawn a 2 or 3, the Banker draws if he has 0-4, and stands if he has 5-7.
    • If the Player has drawn a 4 or 5, the Banker draws if he has 0-5, and stands if he has 6-7.
    • If the Player has drawn a 6 or 7, the Banker draws if he has 0-6, and stands if he has 7.
    • If the Player has drawn an 8, the Banker draws if he has 0-2, and stands if he has 3-7.
    • If the Player drew an ace, 9, 10, or face-card, the Banker draws if he has 0-3, and stands if he has 4-7.

Payouts

If you bet on the player and the player wins, your bet pays 1 to 1.

If you bet on the banker and the banker wins, your bet pays 1 to 1 minus 5% bank commission.

If both the player's hand and the banker's hand have equal totals, the game result is a 'tie'. If you have placed a bet on the tie result, your bet pays 8 to 1. Non-tie bets are returned to you if a tie occurs.

Result Payoff
Winning Player bet 1 to 1
Winning Banker bet 1 to 1 – 5% for the House
Winning Tie bet 8 to 1

10.4 Blackjack

Blackjack, also known as twenty-one, is one of the most popular casino card games in the world. This version of blackjack is based on Atlantic City rules.

Objective

The goal of the game for a player is to beat the Dealer's hand by either getting a better hand without exceeding 21 or by the Dealer's hand going bust (going over 21).

Cards

8 decks are used, 52 cards each. Cards are shuffled after each game.

The value of a hand is simply the sum of points of each card in the hand. In Blackjack, cards are valued in the following way:

  • The cards from 2 through 9 have their face values.
  • 10, Jack, Queen, and King are all valued at 10.
  • An Ace can be counted as either 1 or 11. An Ace always has the value that makes the best hand. Suppose you have Ace and 7. The value of this hand can be either 8 or 18. If you stop here, it will be 18. But let's assume you've drawn one more card. The hand contains Ace, 7 and 8. Its total value is 16.
  • Blackjack is an initial two-card combination consisting of an ace and a ten-value card.

Betting Limits

Min/Max sign indicates minimum and maximum amount that can be placed on each betting field.

Play

You are allowed to bet on up to three hands, placing bets on central, right and left boxes, correspondingly.

Click DEAL to start dealing cards. Both you and the Dealer are dealt two cards. You receive cards face up, the Dealer – one card face down, the other one – face up. If you play multiple hands, several hands will be dealt to you. For each hand, two cards are dealt face up. In this case each hand will be treated separately.

Check for Blackjack

In case the Dealer's face-up card is 10, King, Queen, Jack or Ace, the Dealer checks for Blackjack:

  • If the Dealer has a Blackjack, his face-down card opens. Your and the dealer's hands are compared.
  • If the Dealer doesn't have а Blackjack, then your hand is treated and the game proceeds as usual – with DoubleHit and Stand options offered.

Note: In case the Dealer's face-up card is AceInsurance is offered before the check is performed (see Insurance).

You have one of the options listed once you and the dealer are dealt cards:

  • Hit - Click HIT button to draw an additional card to a hand. You can draw as many cards as required. If the total reaches 21, your hand automatically stops. If your hand busts (its total exceeds 21), your hand is lost.
  • Stand - Click STAND button to stop drawing cards to your hand. Once you click STAND you either move to playing the next hand or – if it is the only or the last of your hands – the Dealer's hand starts being played.
  • Double - Click DOUBLE to double your original bet amount and get one more card to your hand. No more cards can be drawn to the hand.

Depending on the game situation Split and Insurance options may become available.

  • Split – If first two cards are of the same value (two Aces, two Sevens, or two 10-valued cards like King, Jack or Queen), you can split them into two separate hands by clicking SPLIT and placing a bet equal to your original bet. You then proceed to draw cards to the first split hand. You can split your hand only once.

Note: In case of splitting a pair of Aces, you are allowed to draw only one card to each Ace. Then, if you draw a ten-valued card on one of the split Aces, your hand is not considered a Blackjack, but treated as a normal 21.

  • Insurance – This option becomes available if the Dealer's up card is an Ace. In this case, a player has the possibility to insure against the dealer's Blackjack. 'Insurance?' message, 'Yes' and 'No' controls appear on the game table.
    • If you don't want to insure your hand click NO.
    • To make the Insurance bet click YES button. In this case an additional bet is placed, equal to half your initial bet.
      • If the Dealer does have a Blackjack, the Dealer's card opens and the game stops. You lose your original bet (unless you also have Blackjack) but your insurance returns 2 to 1.
      • If the Dealer does not have Blackjack, StandHit and Double buttons become available to proceed with the game.

Dealer's Rule

The Dealer starts playing his hand once all the player's hands are completed. The Dealer stands on all 17.

Game Outcomes

After a player stands with a hand (stops to draw cards) and after the Dealer completes his hand, the player's and the Dealer's hands are compared. The winning hand is considered the one, which total is greater. If a hand has BJ, such hand beats any hand including a regular 21. In case the hand total is greater than 21, such hand busts.

  • A regular winning hand pays out 1 to 1. If you place $10 and beat the dealer, you will be returned your bet and the win of $10, $20 in total.
  • Blackjack pays out 3 to 2. If you place $10 and have Blackjack, you will be returned your bet and the win of 15$, 25$ in total.
  • Insurance bet pays out 2 to 1. With an initial bet of $10, your insurance bet will be $5. In case the Dealer has Blackjack, you will be returned your bet and the win of $10, $15 in total.
  • In case of tie hands, you are returned your original bet.

Play

Play begins with placing an Ante bet. You can also make a side AA bet, but it cannot be made without the Ante being placed.

Click Deal. The Player is dealt 2 cards face up, while the dealer is dealt 2 cards face down, and 3 “flop” cards are dealt at the center of the table. The Player and the Dealer can both use community cards to complete a hand. If the hand contains a winning combination, its name is displayed. The Player needs to estimate their chances of winning and to decide whether to raise and continue playing against the Dealer, or to fold and lose all bets made.

  • Fold – by clicking Fold you lose all bets placed (both the AA and the Ante). The game is over.
  • Raise – by clicking Raise you continue playing and place an additional bet that equals twice your Ante bet. 2 more community cards are dealt, making a total of five cards. The Dealer's cards are revealed. The best paying hands are formed for the Player and the Dealer, using 5 out of the 7 available cards. The formed hands are evaluated.

Game Outcomes

The dealer must have a pair of 4's or higher to qualify.

  • If the Dealer's hand is lower, your Ante bet is paid according to the Ante paytable and the Raise bet pays 1:1.
  • If the Dealer's hand is higher, the Player loses both the Ante and the Raise bets. Even if the Player loses against the Dealer, the Player still receives AA winnings if they qualify. The AA winnings are paid according to the AA paytable.
  • If the Player and the Dealer have exactly the same hands it is a push. In this case the Raise and the Ante bets are returned to the Player, while the AA bet can still win.

Hand Ranking

  • If the Player and the Dealer have hands of the same type, the hand that includes cards of higher value wins (e.g. 3 Kings beats 3 Queens; a flush of A, 6, 5, 4, 3 beats a flush of K, J, 10, 8, 7).

Betting Limits

  • Min/Max sign indicates minimum amount that can be placed on any betting field and maximum amount that can be placed on the table.

Play

The game is played in rounds. Each round consists of two phases: “come-out” and “point”. To start a round one or more “come-out” rolls are made. A come-out roll of 2, 3 or 12 is called “craps”. Pass Line bets lose in this situation. A come-out roll of 7 or 11 (called “natural”) results in a win for Pass Line bets. All other possible numbers – 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10 are called “point numbers”. If some of these numbers is rolled, this establishes the “point”. The dealer moves an ON market to the point number, signifying the second phase of the round. If the shooter rolls a seven before repeating the point number (a “seven-out”), the Pass Line bets lose and the round ends. The next roll of dice is considered the first come-out roll in a new round.

Bet Types

Pass Line

The bet is placed on the PASS LINE field. If the come-out roll is 7 or 11, you win and the round ends. If the come-out roll is 2, 3, or 12, you lose and the round is done.

Any other number rolled - 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10 - becomes the point. If the point comes out again before a 7 you win. If a 7 is rolled before the point you lose the Pass Line bet. The winning Pass Line bet is paid 1:1. Once the point has been established, unresolved Pass Line bets cannot be removed or reduced.

Don't Pass

The bet is placed on the DON'T PASS BAR field. If the come-out roll is 2 or 3, you win. If the come-out roll is 7 or 11, you lose. If the come-out roll is 12, your bet pushes. Any other number (4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10) rolled becomes the point. If the point comes out again before a 7 you lose. If a 7 is rolled before the point, you win. The winning Don't Pass Bar bet is paid 1:1. Once the point has been established, unresolved Don't Pass Bar can be removed or reduced.

Pass Line Odds

If a Pass Line bet has not been resolved on a come-out roll, a Pass Line Odds bet can be placed. Pass Line Odds bets are placed on the PASS LINE field, to the right of Pass Line bets. Pass Line Odds bets win if the Pass Line bet wins, Pass Line Odds bets lose if the Pass Line bet loses. The bet pays 2:1 when the point is 4 or 10, 3:2 when the point is 5 or 9, and 6:5 when the point is 6 or 8. Unresolved bets can be removed or reduced.

Don't Pass Odds

If a Don't Pass bet has not been resolved on a come-out roll, a Don't Pass Odds bet can be placed. Don't Pass Odds bets are placed on the cloth in the DON'T PASS BAR section, to the right of the Don't Pass bet. If the roll is 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10, that number becomes the come point and a Don't Come bet is moved from the DON'T COME BAR to the left corner of the narrow, uppermost bar over the box corresponding to the Come Point: "4, 5, SIX, 8, NINE, OR 10". If the shooter rolls the come point before rolling a 7, you lose the bet. If a 7 is rolled first, you win the bet. Don't Come bets remain placed until the Come Point, or a 7 is rolled. 10.17 Deuces Wild Deluxe

Deuces Wild Deluxe is a classical video poker game. Once a player has placed a bet of 1 or more coins, they are dealt 5 cards. The player then chooses which of the 5 cards they want to hold and which to discard. The discarded cards are replaced with new ones from the deck.

Deuces Wild Deluxe follows conventional Poker rules concerning hands formation. There is one exception - deuces are "wild", which means that the deuce (the '2' card) can serve as a replacement for any other card. This can quickly turn a losing hand into a winning hand. For example, if you have a (4, 5, 7, 8, 2), the '2' can be used as a '6' to complete the straight. Where various card combinations may be created using the wild card, the combination with the highest possible rank is used.

Objective

The objective of the game for the Player is to get the best-paying winning hand listed in the payout table, at least – Three of a Kind.

Decks used

The number of decks used is the same as the number of hands (or lines) in the game. A standard 52-card deck is used. Cards are shuffled after each game.

If you play 5 to 100 lines, the number of coins selected and the corresponding payouts are displayed in the dynamic paytable on the left of the hands.

10.24 Face Up 21

Face Up 21 is a variation of Blackjack where both the player and the Dealer are dealt their cards face-up. Seeing both of the Dealer's cards puts the Player in a slightly better position and increases their chances of making a better strategic decision.

Objective

For the Player, the objective of the game is to beat the Dealer's hand by either getting a better hand without exceeding 21 or by the Dealer's hand going bust (going over 21).

Cards

8 decks are used, 52 cards each. Cards are shuffled after each game.

The value of a hand is simply the sum of points of each card in the hand. In Face Up 21, cards are valued in the following way:

  • The cards from 2 through 9 keep their face values.
  • 10, Jack, Queen, and King are all valued at 10.
  • An Ace can be counted as either 1 or 11. An Ace always gets the value that makes the best hand. For example:
    • If you have Ace, 7. The value of this hand can be either 8 or 18. If you stop here, it will be 18. But say you draw one more card. The hand now contains Ace, 7, 8. Its total value is 16.
  • Blackjack is an initial 2-card combination, with a value of 21, consisting of an Ace and any 10-value card (10, Jack, Queen or King).

Betting Tips

Remove all the placed bets Click the Clear button.
Play again Click New Game to remove all the chips and cards from the table once the game has completed.
Repeat your bet Click Rebet to place the same stakes as in the previous round and start dealing.

Betting Limits

  • The Min/Max sign indicates a minimum amount that can be placed on each betting field as well as the maximum amount that can be placed on the whole table.

Play

You are allowed to bet on up to three hands, by placing bets on the central, right and left boxes.

Click Deal to start dealing cards. Both you and the Dealer are dealt two cards face-up. If you are playing multiple hands, two cards are dealt face up for each hand. Each hand will be treated separately.

If the Player or the Dealer has a Blackjack, the game is over.

If either the Dealer or the Player does not have Blackjack, the following options will become available:

  • Double – The Player can double after the first two cards have been dealt and before drawing an additional (third) card. Click Double to double your original bet amount and get one more card added to your hand. After this, no more cards can be added to the hand. The Double option is also available after splitting.

Note: You are only allowed to double the initial bet if the sum of the first two cards dealt to you is 9, 10 or 11.

  • Split – If the first two cards dealt are of the same value (e.g. two Aces, two Sevens, or two cards with a value of 10 – 10, Jack, Queen or King), you can split them into two separate hands by clicking Split. This will add an additional bet equal to your original bet. You then proceed to draw cards for each of the split hands. You can only split your hand once.

Note: If splitting a pair of Aces, you are only allowed to draw one card for each Ace. If you draw a card with a value of 10 on one of the split Aces, this is not a Blackjack, it is treated as a regular 21.

  • Hit – click the Hit button to draw an additional card for your hand. You can draw as many cards as required. If the total reaches 21, drawing cards stops automatically. If your hand busts (its total exceeds 21), your hand loses.
  • Stand – click the Stand button to stop drawing cards for your hand. Once Stand is clicked, play either moves to the next hand or, if it is the only or the last hand, then the Dealer will start to play his hand.

Dealer's Rule

Once all of the player's hands have completed, the Dealer starts playing his hand. The Dealer must hit if the sum of his cards is less than 17 or is a soft 17 (a hand that includes an Ace valued as “11”, for example a hand consisting of Ace+6 or Ace+2+4). The Dealer must stand if his hand is a hard 17 or higher.

Game Outcomes

Once the Player and the Dealer have both completed their hands, then the Player's and the Dealer's hands are compared.

  • The winning hand is the one with the highest total without busting.
  • If both the Player and the Dealer have Blackjack, then the Player wins. Otherwise the Dealer wins all other tied hands.

Note: if your hand busts, you lose, even if the dealer's hand busts as well.

Result Payoff
Regular win 1:1
Player's BlackJack 1:1
Tied Blackjack 1:1

All bets on the betting layout are in French and there are a few additional that distinguish this variant from others, known as “call bets”.

10.43 Pai Gow Poker

Pai Gow Poker is an Americanized version of Pai Gow, an ancient Chinese game originally played with Chinese dominoes, while Pai Gow poker is played with playing cards using poker hand rankings.

Objective

The objective of the game for a player is to split seven dealt cards in his/her hand into two poker hands: a five-card poker hand and a two-card poker hand, so that beat the Dealer's hands.

Cards

Pai Gow Poker is played with a 53-card deck (standard 52-card deck plus a single joker). Cards are shuffled after each round.

The individual cards are ranked in the following falling order: A (high), K, Q, J, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, A (low, but only when part of an A-2-3-4-5 Straight or Straight Flush).

Note: the Joker can only be used to complete a Straight, Flush or Straight Flush, otherwise it is treated as an Ace. For example, if your hand consists of 4-5-6-7-Joker-K-Q, Joker here is used to complete straight/straight flush (depending on the suit). Thus, Joker-4-5-6-7 combination is treated as 4-5-6-7-8, where Joker is 8, but not 3. Joker is always used to make the best possible combination.

Betting Limits

Min/Max sign indicates minimum and maximum amount that can be placed on each betting field.

Play

Once your bet is placed click Deal to start dealing cards. You are dealt 7 cards face-up, while the dealer is dealt 7 cards face down. You need to split 7-card hand into two poker hands: 5-card (high) and 2-card hand (low). You can arrange the hands yourself or use HOUSE WAY button to arrange the hand automatically by the rules of the casino.

If you arrange the hand yourself, select 2 cards by clicking them and then click Arrange button.

Note: your five-card hand must rank higher than the two-card hand.

If you want your cards to be arranged automatically, click HOUSE WAY button. Once your cards are arranged, Dealer's cards are revealed and split into two hands. Your hands and Dealer's hands are compared.

Game outcomes

  • If each of your hands beats the dealer's corresponding hands, your bet is paid 1:1 minus 5% of the bet that goes to casino.
  • If only one of your hands beats the dealer and the other loses, then you push. In other words, any combination of win and loss across both hands results in a push. In this case your bet is returned to you.
  • If one of your hands ties to the dealer and the other hand wins, you push.
  • On each hand, ties go to the dealer.
    • If one of your hands loses to the dealer and your other hand ties to him then you lose.
    • If both of your hands are copies of the dealer's hands (both hands tie), then you lose. All copies go to the dealer.

Hands ranking and comparing

When comparing two-card and five-card poker hands, hands are ranked first by category and then by individual cards.

The two-card hand can be either a pair (One Pair) or two individual cards (High Card). The highest two-card hand is a pair of Aces and the lowest two-card hand is a 2-3.

A pair is always higher than any set of two cards of different rank (2-2 is higher than A-K).

Between two One Pair hands, the one in which a pair card is higher, wins (J-J is higher than 6-6).

While comparing two High card hands, the highest ranking cards are compared, if those are equal, then the value of the second card is considered (Q-A is higher than Q-J).

The five-card hand is ranked as in Poker, except that an A-2-3-4-5 straight is the second highest straight. The five-card hands are compared according to the categories, from highest to lowest. Any hand in a higher category beats any hand in a lower category (so, for example, any Three of a Kind beats any Two Pairs). In case of a tie between hands in the same category, the rank of the highest individual card (“kicker”) determines the winner.

House Way rules

The Dealer is generally required to set their hands in a pre-specified manner, called the "house way". You can also use the House Way on your hands, by clicking the House Way button.

The "low" refers to the two-card hand and the "high" refers to the five-card hand.

10.44 Poker Three

Poker Three is a three-card modification of the poker game that consists of two different games – Pair Plus and Ante-and-Play. You can choose to play either one or both of these games.

Objective

The objective of Pair Plus is to receive a 3-card poker hand with any Pair or better, while the aim of Ante-and-Play is to beat the Dealer's hand by getting a higher 3-card poker hand.

Cards

The individual cards are ranked in the following descending order: Ace (high or low), King, Queen, Jack, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3 and 2. The Ace can be the highest-value card in a straight of A, K, Q, J, 10, or the lowest-value card in a straight of 5, 4, 3, 2, A.

Play

You can play both games at once or participate in either Pair Plus or Ante-and-Play.

Ante-and-Play Game

To participate in the Ante-and-Play game place an Ante bet. Then click Deal. Once you have been dealt three cards, you need to decide whether to Fold or to Play.

  • Fold – by clicking Fold you end the game and lose your Ante and Pair Plus bets, if placed.
  • Play – by clicking Play you place an additional stake equal to your Ante. The Dealer's cards are revealed. Your hand and the dealer's hands are evaluated.

The dealer qualifies with Queen high or better.

If the dealer does not qualify, your Ante bet is paid 1:1 and your Play bet is returned to you.

If the dealer qualifies, the hands are compared:

  • If the Dealer's hand beats your hand, you lose both the Play and the Ante.
  • If the Dealer's hand ties with your hand, the Play and the Ante are returned to you.
  • If your hand beats the dealer's, both the Play and the Ante bets are paid 1:1.

In addition to normal Ante-and-Play payouts, there is an additional bonus payout on the Ante for especially good hands. If you get one of the hands listed in the Ante Bonus Paytable, you are paid extra irrespective of the Dealer's hand.

10.45 Pontoon

Pontoon is sometimes said to be an early version of Blackjack. In Pontoon any five-card hand and a pontoon (same thing as a blackjack) pay 2 to 1, including after splitting. However there is no dealer up card and the dealer wins on ties. There are several other rule changes from blackjack so read carefully before playing.

In Pontoon, cards are valued in the following way:

  • The cards from 2 through 9 have their face values.
  • 10, Jack, Queen, and King are all valued at 10.
  • An Ace can be counted as either 1 or 11. An Ace always has the value that makes the best hand. Suppose you have Ace, 7. The value of this hand can be either 8 or 18. If you stop here, it will be 18. But let's assume you've drawn one more card. The hand contains Ace, 7 and 8. Its total value is 16.
  • Pontoon is an initial two-card combination consisting of an ace and a ten-value card. Remember the two-card 21 after splitting Aces or any 10-valued cards counts as a pontoon. Pontoon is the highest hand in the game.
  • The second highest hand in the game is a five-card trick, which is defined as any 5-card hand that has not busted. All five-card tricks are of the same value, the point total does not matter.

Repeat your bet Click Rebet to place the same stakes as in the previous round and start dealing.

Betting Limits

Min/Max sign indicates minimum and maximum amount that can be placed on each betting field.

Play

You are allowed to bet on up to three hands, placing bets on central, right and left boxes, correspondingly.

Click Deal to start dealing cards. You are dealt two cards face-up, while the Dealer is dealt two cards face-down. If you play multiple hands, several hands will be dealt to you. For each hand, two cards are dealt face up. In this case each hand will be treated separately.

Once two cards are dealt, the Dealer checks for Pontoon:

  • If the Dealer has a pontoon, his cards open. Your and the dealer's hands are compared.
  • If the Dealer doesn't have а Pontoon, then your hand is treated and the game proceeds as usual – with Stick, Twist and Buy options offered.
    • Stick – You can stick on any total greater or equal to 15, or on any 5-card hand. Click Stick button to stop drawing cards to your hand. Once you click Stick you either move to playing the next hand or – if it is the only or the last of your hands – the Dealer's hand starts being played.
    • Twist - Click Twist button to draw an additional card to a hand. You can draw as many cards as required. If the total reaches 21, your hand automatically stops. If your hand busts (its total exceeds 21), your hand loses. You can twist at any point, including after buying.
    • Buy - Click Buy to double your original bet amount and get one more card to your hand. You can buy on 2 to 4 cards, but only once per hand. You can double after splitting.
  • Split – If first two cards are of the same value (two Aces, two Sevens, or two 10-valued cards like King, Jack or Queen), you can split them into two separate hands by clicking Split and placing a bet equal to your original bet. You can re-split the split hand twice, up to a total of three hands, including Aces. You can twist and buy after splitting.

Note: In case of splitting a pair of Aces, you are allowed to draw only one card to each Ace. Then, if you draw a ten-valued card on one of the split Aces, your hand is considered a pontoon.

Dealer's Rule

The Dealer starts playing his hand once all the player's hands are completed. Dealer sticks if the sum of his cards is less than 17 or is a Soft 17 (a hand that includes an Ace valued as "11," for example a hand consisting of Ace+6, or Ace+2+4). Dealer must stand if the sum of his cards is hard 17 or more.

Game Outcomes

After a player stands with a hand (stops to draw cards) and after the Dealer completes his hand, the player's and the Dealer's hands are compared. The winning hand is considered the one, which total is greater.

  • If your hand total is higher than the dealer's without busting, you win.
  • If you have a pontoon while the dealer does not, you win.
  • If you have a 5-card trick while the dealer does not have Pontoon or 5-card trick, you win.
  • You lose in case of tie hands, in case your hand busts or the dealer's hand is of higher value than yours.
Result Payoff
Pontoon or five-card trick 2:1
Regular win 1:1

10.46 Punto Banco

Punto Banco is one of the oldest and most popular games in casinos all over the world.

Cards in Punto Banco are valued in the following way:

  • An Ace is counted as 1.
  • The cards from 2 through 9 have their face values.
  • 10, Jack, Queen, and King are counted as 0.

The value of a hand is simply the sum of point values of all cards in the hand. But only the last digit of the total is used, so all hands in Punto Banco have values in the 0 to 9 range, inclusive. The hand containing 9, A, A is valued as 1 (9 + 1 + 1 = 11, the last digit is 1). If the hand contains (9, 7), its total value is not 16, but 6.

Betting Limits

Min/Max sign indicates minimum and maximum amount that can be placed on each betting field.

Play

Play begins with placing a bet. Place your bet on the banker's hand to win and/or on the player's hand to win and/or on a tie result. Thus, bets can be placed on Punto, Banco and Tie betting areas.

Payouts

If you bet on the punto and the player wins, your bet pays 1 to 1.

If you bet on the banco and the banker wins, your bet pays 1 to 1 minus 5% bank commission.

If both the player's hand and the banker's hand have equal totals, the game result is a 'tie'. If you have placed a bet on the tie result, your bet pays 8 to 1. Non-tie bets are returned to you if a tie occurs.

Winning Punto bet 1 to 1
Winning Banco bet 1 to 1 – 5% for the House

10.47 Red Dog Poker

Red Dog, also known as a Red Dog poker, is a variation of acey-deucey or in-between. The most attractive thing about this poker game is that you don't have to play against the dealer as well as there are no winning hand combinations.

To win you need to get a card with a value in between the values of the first two cards drawn.

Cards

Red Dog Poker is played with a standard 52-card deck. Cards are shuffled after each round. The value of any card from 2 to 10 counts at face value, a jack counts as 11, a queen as 12, a king as 13, and an ace counts as 14.

One hand can be played at a time.

Betting

  • Choose the number of paylines by activating payline indicators on both sides of reels or clicking the “+”/ “-” buttons below the Lines field.

The Lines field displays the number of the selected lines. Each click on the “+” button increases the number of active paylines by 1. • To choose the bet per line value, use the “+”/ “-” buttons below the Line Bet field. The bet per line value chosen is displayed in the corresponding field.
  • To start the reels spinning, click the Spin button.
  • To activate all the paylines with the maximum bet per line value, use the Bet Max control. Once Bet Max is clicked, the reels start spinning automatically.
The Total Bet field displays your total bet, equal to the number of selected lines multiplied by the bet per line value.
  • Click the Autospin button to choose the number of auto spins or use one of available auto spins options. Click the Start button to initiate a series of spin repeats. During auto spins the selected bet value and number of paylines remain the same as in the previous round. To stop the reels use the Stop button.

Spin Results

If a winning combination is formed along any active payline, it will become animated and the win amount is displayed in the Win field.

  • All symbols pay left to right on consecutive reels of an active payline.
  • Coinciding wins on several active paylines are added.
  • All wins listed in the paytable are multiplied by the bet per line value.
  • Note that only the highest win is paid on each of the active paylines.
  • To view the payouts, click the Paytable button. To return to the main game screen, click the Back button.

Bonus Features

  • The Four-leaf Clover symbol is a Scatter symbol. Two or more Scatter symbols pay out regardless of their position on the screen. Payouts for combinations of Scatter symbols are multiplied by the total bet value.

3 or more Scatter symbols anywhere on the screen will start 15 free spins. If the combination of Scatter symbols appears during free spins, you will get an additional 15 free spins. All winnings during free spins are multiplied by 3. Please, note, your effective bet during free spins is the same as the bet that was placed when the free spins were initially triggered.
  • The Cat is a Wild symbol that substitutes any other symbol in a line (except Scatter) to help complete a winning combination. Payouts for all combinations formed with the help of the Wild symbol are doubled.

Gambling Round

If you win, the gambling option becomes available to you. To enter the gambling room, click the Gamble button that appears next to the Spin button.

The aim of the gambling round is to guess the color or the suit of the face-down card – one from a 52-card deck.

  • Your current win becomes the stake for the gambling round.
  • You need to choose Red, Black, Clubs, Spades, Hearts or Diamonds.
  • If you guess the color, your stake is doubled. If you guess the suit, your stake increases 4 times.
  • If you win, you can collect your winning amount or risk to increase it again – up to 5 times. To collect your win and return to the main game, click Back.
  • If you lose, the gambling round will stop automatically and you will return to the main game.

10.49 Texas Holdem

Texas Hold'em is one of the most dramatic and popular variations of poker in the world with a wide variety of strategies. Texas Hold'em typically accommodates up to 10 players, but here you play against the dealer.

Objective

The objective of the game is to beat the Dealer's hand by getting the best possible five-card hand using the two cards you are dealt and the five community cards.

Cards

Texas Hold'em is played with a standard 52-card deck. Cards are shuffled after each round.

The individual cards are ranked in the following descending order: Ace, King, Queen, Jack, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3 and 2. There is no ranking between the suits – so, for example, the King of hearts and the King of spades are equal.

A poker hand consists of five cards. Any hand of a higher category will beat any hand of a lower category (for example, any Three of a Kind will beat any Two Pairs). If there is a tie between hands in the same category, the rank of the individual cards will determine the winner. If the highest ranking individual cards are equal, the second highest individual cards, are compared, and if these are equal too, the lowest individual cards are compared. For example, J-J-A-9-3 beats J-J-A-8-7 because the 9 beats the 8.

Play

Play begins by placing an Ante bet. Once your bet has been placed click Deal to deal the cards. You are dealt 2 cards face-up, whilst the Dealer is dealt two cards face-down.

You need to evaluate your hand and decide on one of the following options:

  • Fold – by clicking Fold you lose your Ante bet. The game is over.
  • Raise – by clicking Raise you continue playing and place an additional Flop bet that equals twice your Ante bet. Three “community cards” are then dealt on the table.

You need to re-evaluate your hand and decide on one of the following options:

  • Bet – by clicking Bet you place an additional bet – Turn, that equals your Ante bet and a 4th card will then be dealt.
  • Check – by clicking Check you continue playing, the 4th card will be dealt without any additional bet being placed.

Once the 4th card has been dealt you are given the following options:

  • Bet – by clicking Bet you place an additional bet – River, that equals your Ante bet and a 5th card will then be dealt.
  • Check – by clicking Check you continue playing, the 5th card will be dealt without any additional bet being placed.

Once 5 “community cards” have been dealt, the dealer's cards are turned over. You and the dealer will make the best 5-card poker hand using any combination of the 2 initial cards and the 5 “community cards”. Your hands are evaluated and compared. The best 5-card poker hand will win.

Game Outcomes

  • If the dealer's hand beats your hand, you lose all your bets (Ante, Flop, Turn and River).
  • If your hand and the dealer's hand tie, it is a push and all bets are returned to you.
  • If your hand beats the dealer's hand.
    • With a Straight or higher, the Ante, Flop, Turn and River bets are paid 1:1.
    • With a hand, lower than a Straight, the Flop, Turn and River bets are paid 1:1, whilst the Ante pushes.
